Camden Clinical Commissioning Group will be hosting a meeting to discuss possible changes in interpreting provision in general practices for deaf and hard of hearing patients. As part of this, there is a demonstration of the video remote interpreting (VRI) tool being considered.

Karen Derrick (Planned Care Commissioning Manager, Camden Clinical Commissioning Group) wants to talk about providing additional support for deaf service users in general practice with a demonstration of one-touch access to trained professional video interpreters who can support patients onscreen.
There will be an opportunity to discuss and provide feedback on the British Sign Language Interpreter provision in Camden’s general practices and the proposed changes. This will also be an opportunity to answer any questions you may have about using video remote interpreting (VRI).
