The next Camden Patient and Public Engagement Group Open Meeting will be held on Monday 6th June, 2 – 4pm, at The Conference Centre, St Pancras Hospital, 4 St Pancras Way, London NW1 0PE.
The presentations for the open meeting are as follows:
Presentation 1: Fraud in the NHS
Presenter: Chaya-Orna Diamond, Consultant RSM Risk Assurance Services LLP
Background: The RSM team provide the counter fraud function for Camden CCG which is a mandatory function to prevent, deter and detect fraud that is committed against the CCG. The Team will be providing awareness for patients with legislative information about fraud and bribery across the NHS and their role. They will also be providing us with recent case studies within patient settings and reporting line information.
Presentation 2: The Health Advocate Programme
Presenter: Donna Turnbull, Community Development Manager, Voluntary Action Camden
Background: Health Advocates assist and signpost patients attending general practices to
- find non clinical based services that enable them to manage and promote their own health and well-being and manage long term conditions
- help reduce social isolation and connect individuals to local community groups.
