Pre engagement reviews and public consultation
Involving local people in improving local health services
Consultations are a vital way of getting involved and influencing decisions in Camden. Patient feedback helps us with planning and buying NHS services that meet the diverse needs of local people. It is important to us that local people influence local health services and the plans of our clinical commissioning group.
Patient and public involvement through consultations could be on both local and national levels and we are committed to ensuring our consultations are transparent, easy to understand and that they consider the views of Camden people.
Occasionally, we will need to formally consult about proposals. This is usually when there is a proposal to make major changes to health services, develop new ones or create new strategies or policies for health services in Camden.
We aim to involve everyone living in Camden, including patients, carers, and members of residential and community groups. You too can play an important role in helping up plan and deliver local services:
To give feedback on what is happening you can register with the CCG and be added to a database. You will receive a bi-monthly patient newsletter giving you the opportunity to have your voice heard and getting the latest information on CCG plans for involving members of the pubic and consultations. To register please email firstname.lastname@example.org

National Consultation on medicines which should not routinely be prescribed
We routinely support national consultations with disseminating information via social media and our patient newsletter. In relation to this consultation we presented the consultation at a CPPEG public meeting and CCG staff attended two CPPEG operational meetings in response to questions raised by PPG members and the general public.
