Somers Town Medical Centre: have your say

NHS England and Camden CCG are appointing an organisation to manage Somers Town Medical Centre for the next five to 10 years. As part of this process, we would like to hear what patients think about the services that are currently provided.

Earlier this year, together with NHS England, we appointed Haverstock Healthcare Ltd to run GP services at Somers Town Medical Centre while the long-term future of the practice was considered. This temporary contract ends on 31 July 2017 and a new long term contract for GP services will be put in place. This may or may not be with the current organisation.

We will do this by running a formal selection (tendering) process. As part of this, we would like to hear the views of patients and others about what they value about the current service and what they would like to see improved. This will help us to make the important decision about who manages the surgery in the long-term. Somers Town Medical Centre patients can feedback in the following ways:

  • Complete a survey by 24 November 2016. You can complete it online or ask for a paper copy at the surgery reception.
  • Come along to an information session at Somers Town Medical Centre on Wednesday 9 November 2016 at either 3pm or 6pm.

GP services at Somers Town Medical Centre will continue uninterrupted during this process – the practice will remain open as normal and patients do not need to find a new doctor.
