CPPEG elections 2017
Voting open in Camden Patient and Public Engagement Group (CPPEG) elections
We are holding elections for new members of CPPEG. CPPEG is a group of elected patients who support Camden CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) to involve patients in our decision-making.
Elections are being held to fill the following vacancies:
- three vacancies in the South Locality of Camden
- one vacancy in the West Locality
- there are currently no vacancies in the North Locality
These positions on CPPEG are for people who are active members of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) at their general practice.
We are delighted that four PPG members have nominated themselves in the South Locality, and two PPG members have nominated themselves in the West Locality.
Each candidate has written a personal statement, introducing themselves and explaining what they would bring to CPPEG.
The deadline to nominate yourself as a candidate has now passed.
How do I vote?
We strongly encourage all PPG members to register to vote. It’s important to think about which candidate you feel would best represent patients in Camden. We’re looking for people who are passionate about improving healthcare for everyone in Camden. In order to vote, you must be a member of your general practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG). This includes online PPGs.
You must register to vote with Camden CCG. Please email email@example.com or call 020 3688 2456.
We will send you a voting slip, which you need to fill in and return by email or post. The deadline for returning your voting slip is 6pm on Monday 3 April. You can only vote for a candidate in your own locality. If you are not sure which locality you are based in, the list below shows which practices are based in the South and the West Localities.

Where can I find more information about CPPEG?
Everybody in Camden is invited to CPPEG open meetings. At meetings we discuss our local priorities, and existing and future services in Camden. You can ask questions, and share your thoughts.
The next open meeting is on Monday 10 April.
We also encourage you to join the PPG at your general practice. PPGs represent patient views, offer feedback on services, and help practices improve and promote healthy living. To find out about joining your PPG, check out your practice’s website or simply ask at reception.
