NHS Camden Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was formally created in 2013 to organise the delivery of healthcare in Camden. Our organisation is led by GPs and healthcare professionals who have many years' experience caring for Camden patients.
As a CCG it's our job to buy (or commission) many local healthcare services. We aim to commission services that offer choice and flexibility, so that Camden residents can access care that best meets their needs.
We work with Camden health and social care organisations, patients and residents to make decisions about how NHS funding is spent in our borough. We then make sure those services are of a high quality.
NHS England is responsible for making sure all CCGs meet national standards - as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2012, the NHS Constitution and the NHS Outcomes Framework.
Our constitution outlines the principles by which we work and the rules and processes that we follow. Our Annual Report and Accounts 2015-16 provides a detailed summary of how we delivered our statutory duties last year. Our Key Achievements 2015-16 summarises some of the highlights delivered by different teams, working with our partners. Both of these documents are available in the downloads section of this page.
